  • Is this camping?

    Don’t think of this as “camping.” Our trailers are set up as modern, luxury hotel rooms with an emphasis on comfort. Each suite has a unique personality, but all feature the high-end amenities you expect from a premier hotel. Your trailer will have lounge chairs, a picnic table, BBQ and a view of the excitement around you.

  • What amenities can we expect?

    Lounge in your adirondack camp chairs at your private lawn area and/or picnic table or enjoy the communal areas. Play cornhole, roast a smore, or visit the retro game room with friends. We love our property and hope you do too, but we encourage you to take our complementary bikes to the downtown area restaurants, bars, coffee shops, local parks, and trails. Downtown Columbia Falls is within walking distance. We are happy to give suggestions.

  • Is Wi-Fi available?

    Yes, free of charge.

  • Can I cook inside my trailer?

    Kitchens in the trailers feature a sink, refrigerator, stovetop, most have an oven, and microwave; plus, are fully stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. We also provide plates, drinkware, and coffee mugs. Each trailer also has a vintage charcoal camp grill station.  We encourage guests to enjoy any of the excellent local restaurants… many located within walking distance. We are happy to provide recommendations, so please ask!

  • Can my kids pitch a tent outside of the trailer?

    Sorry, but tents are not allowed on the property.

  • Are the trailers handicap accessible?

    Unfortunately, due to the nature of our vintage-inspired trailers, we are not able to meet ADA requirements.

  • Is smoking allowed?

    Urban Woods is smoke-free. Anyone identified as smoking in the trailers or common areas will be charged a $250 fee.

  • Where can I park?

    We offer parking for one vehicle at each trailer.  Additional parking for guests is available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please contact us if you are arriving with more than one vehicle. 

  • Do you provide daily housekeeping?

    We like to provide our guests with as much privacy throughout their stay in order to make each trailer feel like their own. Daily room service is not automatically provided, but a “freshen-up service, may be provided at the request of the guest.

  • Is Urban Woods dog friendly?

    We are hoping to be dog friendly soon but are not accepting any furry friends at this time.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

  • What are your check-in / check-out procedures?

    Your access code for your lock box along with your trailer name and location will be emailed to you prior to your check in.  If you have not received this information, please contact us.  Upon check out please leave the keys on the kitchen table.  

  • Is early check-in available?

    Early check-in may be available on a request basis.  Please call to check availability.

  • Is late check-out available?

    Late check-out may be available on a request basis and is not guaranteed.  Please contact us

  • Do the trailers have heating and AC?

    All our trailers have heaters and air conditioning if needed.

  • What are your quiet hours?

    For the enjoyment of all our guests, we ask that quiet hours are no later than 10pm and remain until 8am.

  • Is Urban Woods located in a rural, quiet area?

    Urban Woods is just as the name suggests… we are conveniently located in an urban area of Columbia Falls so our guest may enjoy local amenities.  We have gone to great lengths to plant mature trees for a wooded campground feel; plus we have installed privacy fencing and other measures to create our ambience.  

  • What are the rules for complimentary bike use?

    We offer complementary bikes to Urban Woods guests that are proficient enough to safely operate the bicycle. You will need to sign a waiver accepting liability for any damage or injury. We kindly ask that you return the bikes immediately after you are done riding them for the enjoyment of other guests as there is a limited quantity available. Bikes must be returned before dark. 

  • Do you have any other policies that I should be aware of?

    Yes, we have our “friendly neighbor" policy… We all like to have fun, but please remember to be mindful of others. Excessive noise and public inebriation are not allowed. Guests who violate this policy will be asked to leave immediately and will not be refunded for any portion of their stay.

  • What are the hours of your game room?

    Our retro game room and community indoor hang out space is available from 8am to 10pm.  Overhead doors will be closed at 10pm to enforce quiet hours.
